Important Information

Information provided on agassizmedicalcentre.com is intended to provide general information and should not be used as a substitute for the advice of a physician. Please consult your family physician or other appropriate health professional on personal health matters. Walk-in should be used for non life-threatening illnesses and injuries.

Walk-in is NOT to be used for the following:

- Life-threatening situations such as: heart attack/chest pain poisoning loss of consciousness. For emergency care, patients are to go to Boundary Trails Health Centre.

- For those patients with providers, walk-in is not recommended for routine prescription renewal. It is best if patients see their regular doctor for prescription renewals. If you do not have a provider, walk-in may be appropriate. While we cannot guarantee prescription refills will be done, it is an appropriate first point of care.

In the patients best interest, we are only able to accomodate a certain number of patients during our walk-in clinic. Because of this, you may be told the walk-in clinic is "full" when you arrive. We understand this is frustrating. Please let our staff help you to book the next available appointment.
