Dr. Meghan Chatwin
Family Medicine, Obstetrics
I was born in Morden and grew up in Roland and Carman. I moved into Winnipeg after high school to go to the University of Winnipeg where I got my Bachelor of Science degree. I then took a couple years off of school and did some traveling in Central America and worked a bunch of random jobs to fund this traveling! After that it was time to go back to school to become a doctor, which had been my dream all along. I graduated from medical school from the University of Manitoba and then completed my residency training at the University of British Columbia through the program based in Chilliwack.
During medical school I did my family medicine rotation at the Agassiz Medical Centre. This was where I realized family medicine was the best specialty of medicine and that Morden was a great place to practice! I loved the variety that rural family medicine provides and Morden/Boundary Trails have such a supportive group of staff and colleagues. I am looking forward to having a practice that includes work in the ER, obstetrics and hospital based medicine. Morden is a beautiful town and it is good to be close to home and family.Back to Team
