Dr. David Martens


David Martens grew up in Altona. He graduated from the faculty of Medicine at the University of Manitoba and completed his family medicine residency through the University of BC in Victoria. He returned to the University of Manitoba for additional training in anesthesia.

David enjoys, cycling, golf, talking about cars, and spending time with his wife, Lorissa, and two sons, Max and Luca, and daughter Sophia .

Why Morden?

David planned on returning to a rural setting early in medical school. The appeal of a contributing to a rural community like the one he grew up in plus the excellent medical facilities made Morden a very attractive choice. Being close to family and friends added to the appeal of Morden.
