Dr. Christy Funk

  • Christy Funk

Biography:

I was born and raised in small town Melville, Saskatchewan where from a very young age I had a passion for rural medicine. I began my undergraduate studies at the University of Saskatchewan in biology before being accepted in the College of Medicine at the U of S in Saskatoon. I then moved to Regina for my medical clerkship, or as we say in Saskatchewan... "JURSI" years. I met my husband, Ryan, at University and it was him who introduced me to the community of Morden. I knew instantly that I could see myself living here, and I am so excited to begin my residency program at Boundary Trails hospital! In my spare time, you can find me outside. We love to hike, travel, fish, ski, golf, bike, garden and barbeque. Although I still cheer for the Riders, I am a Jets fan!
